Google say: Xbox 720 will be bigger than PS4

4.5
Even though neither Microsoft nor Sony have made any announcements regarding their upcoming next generation consoles. This hasn't stopped Google from announcing who they think will be winning the next console race.

Google claim that the Xbox720 (Or whatever its name will be) will be bigger than the PS4 because more people are searching the web for it. When comparing the search terms worldwide, they say that 60 percent of people are searching for Xbox720 compared to just 40 percent for the PS4.

Clearly not hugely scientific, but an interesting piece of information none the less. Although it can be due to websites and magazines claiming to have more information about the specs and features of the Next Gen Xbox compared to PS4.

We'd love to know which console you're most interested in and why, voice your opinions below!

Well everybody already knows what the ps4 will look like, all of them after the first one have looked the exact same with different sizes. Xbox changes what they look like every time.

A console is basically a pc programmed to run games and apps,so technically they are both gaming pcs

bottenfield ummmmm... neither because consoles are a waste and are slowing down the gaming industry. We on pc will have specs that are almost twice as fast even when either of these are released, sorry to say and at a much cheaper price tag :p

A good gaming PC costs WAY more then an Xbox with 2 controllers and live for a year with the newest game you can get.

Let's see here (note, these are all regular prices):

Xbox 360 (250GB version, cause let's face it, the 4GB one sucks)- $300
Live -$60
2 Controllers - $100
New game- $60
_____________
Total: $520

Now, for 520 dollars, you can build a pretty decent gaming PC for yourself. But let's extend this further. There are deals on Steam all the time, for sometimes half-off or more than what you would get on consoles. You save tons of money, especially if you buy a decent amount of games in the lifespan of your console/PC. In addition, it's not fair to only count 1 year of Live. In an average 5 year console generation, you'd be spending $300 of Live. Not to mention that when the new consoles come out, they'll be about $400. So here is a revised list of what the costs will be like next gen over the course of 5 years (not including games):

Xbox 720- $400
Live- $300
Extra controller- $60
______________________
Total= $760

IDK about you, but for around the same price, I can get a decent gaming PC for about 760, including upgrades over about 4 years (2 years per upgrade), for the same price. Not to count all the deals there are with Steam. Basically, consoles, in the long term, do not have a price advantage over PC's, and PC's can come out cheaper over time. That's why next gen, I'm going to be a PC gamer.
Not everyone buys everything new im pretty sure everyone buys preowned games or does rentals more then buy new stuff. 2 controllers in not even necessary for most gamers, new games cost $60 on ppc as well -_-, i have a gaming pc still dont use it that much and got pretty much every amazing game. New xbox every 5-8 years woody doo 400 bucks more Graphic Cards every 2 years $150 and up

While this may be true, Pc games get hacks way more often then System Games.

So? That's a good thing. On PC, you have the choice of more mods such as this:

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/227822-145-spmp-millenaire-npc-village-33-villagers-must-now-protect-themselves-from-mobs-fixes/

And those were just a few I found from a quick Google search. Can you get that kind of customizability on the Xbox/PS/Wii U? No.

DAYZ!!!!!!!
Anyways, PC IS better than any console ever.

Eh both have their perks. PC is for those who are tech savvy, know their ins and outs of the hardware as well as a basic understanding of drivers, operating systems, and overall compatibility. While it's really costly you're no doubt going to get the best graphics, however graphics aren't everything. I have more fun playing the Xbox because it's way more social and engaging with friends. There's no need to download skype, or any other defragmented way of communication, it's all there. (Yes there is steam but its not the same) although I wouldn't imagine playing minecraft with a remote control or playing Devil May Cry with a keyboard. That's just silly.

I wonder what more features they will add to the feature consoles. Technology has come a far way.
