Amazon Instant Video is now available on the Wii in the US

Amazon Instant Video brings 140,000 different movies and TV episodes directly to the Wii. People who utilize the application will have the ability to purchase or rent these via online streaming.

If you are interested in Amazon Instant Video, you can download the app in the Wii Shop Channel. This will give you full access to all of the available content as well as the Watchlist option.

As of now, there is no time frames given for when this service will be available to other regions.

Um. Don't we already have this on Xbox, I swear I got on the App Marketplace on Xbox and saw it. Maybe I was hallucinating or something. :/
