On the 29th of January, Crisis 3 will have have an Open Beta for all platforms (PC, PS3 and Xbox 360).

With it comes two team-based game modes and two maps.
The beta will also be live for two weeks.

The first game mode is Crash Site. Where you and your team find and defend locations. And you kill the other team.

The second game mode is brand new Hunter mode. Which starts with two players dressed in Nano suits armed with the Predator bow. The other 10 people (14 on PC) are Cell troopers. The hunters (nano suit wearers) hunt the troopers. Each time they kill someone, the dead Cell trooper comes back as a hunter.

The two maps which will be available to play are Airport and Museum, both found in the rain forest-overrun city of New York.

The multiplayer beta also introduces the Battlelog-like New York Feed. This tracks all the goings on of your friends while also giving you challenges which you can complete.

Crysis 3 is out on 21st February in Europe. If you pre-order you'll be upgraded to the Hunter Edition of the game, and you'll also get a free download of Crysis 1.
