Employees of THQ's corporate HQ and Vigil studio will stop working for the bankrupt publisher today. In a memo obtained by sources, employees received a "frequently asked questions" memo about the end of their employment.
The memo states that employees should remove all of their personal items by the end of the day, as access to the building will no longer be available. Employees will be paid through today, have health insurance until January 31, with severance and leftover vacation pay yet to be announced. All THQ stock is now worthless.
I love THQ for their contributions to Playstation 2. I've spent days and days playing some of their games when I was a child :) It's a shame they're now bankrupt!
This memo seems to make THQ corporate sound like a bunch of jerks. Thanks for kicking all your hard working employees in the nuts and leaving them out in the cold...
well seeing as i never really played or enjoyed any THQ games i can say that i am overly concerned about them going under, on a side note COD is just quake butchered and has no relevance to the bad choices a billion dollar company as of 2008 has made and is now suffering from.
How does that even compare? Look at Minecraft, Battlefield 3, Skyrim, GTA etc
All these big time games which produce Millions of dollars in sales, and you say COD did this to THQ..
Call of Duty is outselling all those, come again.
COD is the same game over and over you guys are the stupid ones who buy into it so its your fault.
It's fun, simple as that. They change the maps, and weapons, and keep the core mechanics that make COD fun, no need to fix what isn't broken. And you can say how much you hate it, and how broken it is. But sadly, millions of other people enjoy it just the way it is.
And I play Battlefield, Halo, Farcry, Counterstrike: GO, you mad?

I've seen people with 0.30 k/d's, and they're very bad, in a game which is pretty easy, keep trolling though, lawl.
