GTA 5 delayed to September - Official release date announced.

Recently it was announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be launched on September 17, 2013. Instead of it's original Spring release date.

It has been delayed to 'allow additional development time'.

Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser said "We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months".

Rockstar Games parent company, Take-Two Interactive and its investors are probably more eager for GTA 5 to launch than gamers, since the game's release is expected to deliver $600 million in revenues.

If you are a Gears of War fan, Judgement is coming out in the Spring. But it still sucks :(

Centurial I rather have the game at it's best with no bugs when it's released. It's fine with me that they delayed it.


I hope they delay it until Q4 2014, just to see what you would say then.

Feet I want GTA to have licensed cars. It would make it so much better than it already is.


You gotta think how that'd look on car companies. New Ford Mustang, running people down with it, shooting people out of an f-150, killing people with grenades in a Camaro. It'd give the company and the car a bad image and possibly decrease sales. It sounds dumb but makes total sense. I do agree, it'd be cool to drive a lambo around and upgrade and race it, but think about the companies and the image it would give off to consumers.
