GTA 5 delayed to September - Official release date announced.

Recently it was announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be launched on September 17, 2013. Instead of it's original Spring release date.

It has been delayed to 'allow additional development time'.

Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser said "We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months".

Rockstar Games parent company, Take-Two Interactive and its investors are probably more eager for GTA 5 to launch than gamers, since the game's release is expected to deliver $600 million in revenues.

JFreerz That really ticks me off I was looking forward to GTA now I have to wait they really know how to piss off their fans them stupid ******* they had like 6 f***ing years for Christ sakes

The game map is bigger then San Andreas, GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption and room to spare. Plus they also need to add all the detail to underwater. Then a lot of side quests and making sure the story is decent and like they said upgrade everything from previous gta games. They want this game to be perfect before the 720 and the ps4 launch. This will more then likely be one of the last games before that happens so they want it to be big. This is not like cod where it takes a year to copy and paste code.

It is annoying, I know, but the longer we wait the better the finished product will be! And the release date was never confirmed anyway!

Well now I can get to prestiege master and not worry about playing 2 games at once! Also 600 million holy beejeezus that alot of money they are expecting! Hopfully a lot of DLC will come out because based on those numbers you must have a ton of stuff planned to keep people playing and buying merchandise.
