GTA 5 delayed to September - Official release date announced.

Recently it was announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be launched on September 17, 2013. Instead of it's original Spring release date.
It has been delayed to 'allow additional development time'.
Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser said "We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months".
Rockstar Games parent company, Take-Two Interactive and its investors are probably more eager for GTA 5 to launch than gamers, since the game's release is expected to deliver $600 million in revenues.
Wisest It's obvious that they're preparing to make it a launch title for the next generation consoles, that would increase sales dramatically for both the next generation consoles, and for Rockstar. Can't imagine them missing out on the chance to be one of the first official next-generation titles at launch.
lol they cant just make a game for 360/ps3 and they decide all of a sudden they want it to be for next gen doesnt work that way all this delay means is there a bunch of money grabbing ..... so they can get christmas sales us hardcore gta fans have been expecting a spring 2013 release for the longest now.Who announces a game in 2011 doesnt say anything else about it for a year and then tell us its been delayed its gonna ruin there sales the release is gonna be to close to next gen and i doubt many people are gonna wanna keep there ps3/360 to play 1 game

I thought about this last night too. M$ did the same thing with Gears 3. They had an extra 6 months to fix problems in the game since it was completed but NEVER did anything new to it.
