GTA 5 delay may mean next-gen release.

As you may know, Rockstar announced today that Grand Theft Auto 5 has been delayed by an extra 4 months, to allow for 'further development'.

This has left many to believe that GTA 5 will indeed be released on next-gen platforms.

Adding a further 4 months on to the development of the game means it will probably be released either after the consoles have been launched, or just before they have been launched.

Coincidence?

I think it will be on the 360. 720 won't come out till after christmas.. (I think)

Also, they've been developing this game for 5+ years, it's going to be on Xbox 360. Possibly ported over to 720 in the months following the release but definitely not instantly

TopNotchKiNG GTA V is not going to be released just for 360, seriously over 5 years of development and you guys think that there only going to give it a lifespan of maximum 1 year?

This game is in development for the 360 but Rockstar is most certaintly atleast porting it the 720
