Call of Duty Championship in April, promises $1 million prize.

Activision has recently announced the Call of Duty Championship. Set to take place April 5-7 in Hollywood, the tournament will put 32 teams against eachother for a chance at the $1 million prize.

Teams will be drawn from several areas, including Xbox Live, Major League Gaming and the Electronic Sports League. Those interested in competing for a spot on Xbox Live may do so by registering for Call of Duty Elite. Starting today, teams of four can then compete on Xbox Live in the February season of Black Ops 2 League Play.

Not to mention that then the money is also split between the members of each team.
Which is still a crap load!

Meaning the top prize somebody would earn from it is $100k

Botch Seems like Activision has enough money to host this contest, with a $1,000,000 dollar prize, but not enough money to pay for dedicated servers. FML

Treyarch makes good games. the orginal black ops was just a fail. All others are stellar!
