GTA 5 delay: Rockstar dismisses conspiracy theories

Rockstar has debunked the "conspiracy theories" surrounding the recent Grand Theft Auto 5 delay.

While we do not know which theories Rockstar were referring to, we have the suspicion that it may have something to do with people thinking that GTA 5 may be releasing on Next-gen consoles.

But Rockstar insists that the only reason Grand Theft Auto 5 was delayed was to ensure the game meets customer expectations.

"To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they're all nonsense - literally the only reason we've delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be"

"For those of you asking about the official box art, that will be coming out a bit later as well."

That's true. But the thing that stinks is it's probably only going to be on xbox 360 and ps3, and not on new consoles. So it's probably going to be the last game I buy for my 360 :(

It should come on next gens, 5 years is way too long when next gens are coming out soon.
