Report: Next Xbox to "kill" pre-owned, requires always on net connection

4.6
Sources claim to have word that the next-gen Xbox will require an always-on internet connection and will block the use of pre-owned games.

The source says that another source “with first hand experience” of the console adds that games will still be buyable, which are supplied on 50GB Blu-ray discs. It is understood that disc games will use an activation code.

So, no more going to the shops and buying cheap second-hand games? There has to be more people who think this is a bad idea by Microsoft.

I'll gladly buy gamefly or something like that and pay 8$ a month and play a game. I get bored after a month anyway.

Remember when all of you were calling sony idiots for doing this...good times

Anyway this is what PC does and I support this, we should be helping game developers. Plus games were like 5 - 10 dollars cheaper... so who cares about that aspect.

The only problem is when you wana play a game with your friends and you go over to their house. That should be addressed but if its not youll get used to it.
