No need to wait four more years for the next Far Cry

According to the Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, "fans will certainly not have to wait four more years for the next Far Cry." This is largely due to the fact that Far Cry 3 has exceeded expectations and has shipped over 4.5 million copies. Ubisoft is on the doing very well and is taking full advantage of the brand formula and gameplay for the series, despite the four year wait between Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 2.

Toes farcry 3 is beast playing it right now


I haven't gotten the previous Far Crys, but I heard they're really good. I'm going to buy the new one when it comes out.

For the price it seems to have settled at in online and instores for new (about 20~30 dependant on where) i think it is probably one of the best values for money, it has a good story with plenty of play time, lots of side bits to do, the collectables bit with puzzles. Online multiplayer that is a nice unique style and the co-op is very fun too, the co-op is similar to left 4 deads where its 4 people having to be a team and go in alinear path but it can unlock stuff for multiplayer and single player too!

After far cry 3's success, they will definitely make a fourth.


I agree, and considering Far Cry 2 wasn't as big as a success as 3, 4 will be even better because now Ubisoft knows their fan's taste in games. FC4 will be amazing.
