Sony exec: Gran Turismo 6 'on PS3 this year'

It is known that Polyphony has been working on Gran Turismo 6 since 2011, meaning many expected the game to come out quite a long time after it had been announced. Now it turns out that the game may come out this year, and this time it is on the PS3.

This is according to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Senior Vice President Michael Denny, speaking with sources: "Look at the games coming out on PlayStation 3 this year, like The Last of Us, like Beyond, GT6...."

Sony confirms that Gran Turismo 6 is in development and has been since 2010, but offers no additional comment about a release this year.

Last time I played one was on the PS2, I wasn't a 'gamer-kid' back then, now that I look back on the game I had so much fun with it.

I had one for the PS2, it was fun!

I never played racing games that much, and even then I was horrible.

the only recent racing game that i've played is Forza 4 and it's pretty good. Not my type of game though.

I have that racing game that comes with the Standard Xbox. It's pretty old, and its the most recent one I've played.

GT is much more fun than Forza in my opinion!

I prefer forza tbh.

i can't really pick which one, as i haven't played any recent GT's

Mazur wow i haven't played Gran Turismo since like the second 1. might have to get this for my ps3 i barely play lol

Same with me, I had one of the games for the PS1.

PS1 brings back so many memories, so does Gamecube.

GameCube was pretty much my childhood. Super Smash was the best.

Melee was the best, I was the best kid in my neighborhood in that game xD

haha me too, and then they came out with Super Smash Bros Brawl, the soccer game. all those games were the best.

Compliance I have never played one of these before, but this looks good.

It's an all round racing game, very fun!

If it's anything like the earlier versions it should be great.
