Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is now confirmed for PS4

Assassin's Creed 4 game director Ashraf Ismail said that the AnvilNext engine, which power's Ubisoft's pirate game and debuted with Assassin's Creed 3 in 2012, was built for platforms beyond the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U.

Ubisoft has yet to confirm a launch date for the PS4 version since the exact timing is linked with Sony's protected launch plans. All other versions of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag are set release on October 29, 2013 in North America.

SOG You can almost instantly feel the pirate theme to this game once you hear 'black flag'.

Seems like a very cool title and theme for an AC game, maritime warfare was great fun in AC3.

I love the idea of being a pirate. There's no way for them to mess this up!

Being a pirate sounds extremely fun.

Being an ASSASSIN pirate sounds extra fun!

Anything to do with a pirate. I will sure be getting this game, no doubt.

yay Another assassins creed already? Didn't 3 come out like, 2 months ago?

3 came out Oct. 29th, it's not surprising they're already announcing a new addition to the series

It's a shame. Instead of shooting games out fast, they really need to sit down and make a REALLY good game.

Yea, it would be nice if they took there time, CoD should do that instead of rushing.

I know, but Activision is too busy taking money from us to actually care what the game looks like.

Yea, it's sad, but it's true. They don't care for fans, just the paycheck we are giving them.
