Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Retail Disc Version Coming in April

4.3
It looks like Microsoft and Mojang are about to take their relationship with one another to a whole new level. A physical level. Today it was revealed over at PlayXBLA that a physical copy of Minecraft for the Xbox 360 will be released to stores on April 30th.

The game will contain all of the same features that the digital version includes as well as all further updates. The title will be sold for $19.99, the same price as the digital version (but taxed now) and will be available in other regions outside of the US sometime early in June.

The retail game will be exactly the same as the digital version in every way, including support for multiplayer connectivity between the retail game and the digital download.

Mazur I'm pretty sure people who like the game already have the digital copy, not sure why they would bother making a physical copy...

Maybe someone doesn't have Xbox Live to download it.

I wondered that too...It would be awesome if all the updates were set in on the physical version so that wouldn't be a bother anymore...
