PS3 firmware version 4.40 released

Sony has released firmware 4.40 for the PS3, with no official changelog we can only go off the few changes listed on the japanese software update page. It lists the changes as general stability tweaks and support for a specific NFC reader. If we gather anymore details about this update we'll be sure to update this posting.

Yeah, I had a PS3, but I sold it to a friend.

Xbox is way better, I love it.


Except for the fact that you have to buy Xbox love cards

Most updates do a lot of work behind the scenes. Stuff they don't tell you about.

The extra you pay improves the service, so I don't have a problem with it.

Nah ps3 is alot better plus you dont need to pay to play online :D


It's a matter of opinion. The consoles are both good but someone will always prefer something different.

Well someone will definitely bypass this as there were so many new mw2 mod menus getting released soon and it would be a waste of time for all of them if they dont find a way to bypass this.
