PS3 firmware version 4.40 released

Sony has released firmware 4.40 for the PS3, with no official changelog we can only go off the few changes listed on the japanese software update page. It lists the changes as general stability tweaks and support for a specific NFC reader. If we gather anymore details about this update we'll be sure to update this posting.

I doubt it, bypass originated from a file in the update 1.11

They patched the bypass and upgraded the security, nothing big to us, but important to them.
