Call of Duty Championship starts today, watch on Xbox Live

The $1 million prize purse is officially up for grabs starting today with the kick-off of the Call of Duty Championship series. The championship takes place over this weekend in Hollywood, CA, with aspiring millionaires (not after taxes!) throwing down in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Thirty-two total teams will compete over the course of the weekend with the festivities being broadcast over Xbox Live, which is also sponsoring the event. Players can also watch the tournament via Xbox.com, through Call of Duty Elite, Twitch, Gamespot and the Call of Duty Facebook page. The final championship event is scheduled for Sunday, April 7, at 6pm ET.

PGA I like watching tournaments like this, especially when it is over amounts of money like this.


The only reason i watched this was to see the Call of Dead trailer.

I love watching big tournaments like this, and would like to one day be a part of one! Or at least go and see one, only problem is the majority of them are held in the US, and I live in the UK.
