Minecraft XBLA update causes issues, bug fixes coming

4.6
4J Studios is working to address a number of Minecraft Xbox 360 issues being reported since title update 9 went live yesterday.

The Minecraft title update introduced 'The End', featuring new Enderdragon behavior, climbable vines, fresh music and crafting options, among other features, but it hasn't gone smoothly for everyone.
Some Xbox Live Silver members are having issues loading saves, while other players have reported lag and lighting issues.

4J Studios has said in a series of tweets: "Getting reports of issues loading saves for Silver LIVE profiles in TU9. Seems disconnecting from LIVE resolves this.

"If you get "Connection to the server was lost" and are a LIVE Silver user, try disconnecting the ethernet cable. We are fixing this bug.

"We're also looking into the reported lag some people are experiencing in The End.

"We are aware of some lighting issues in TU9 and are investigating these."

The XBLA version of the game hit six million sales in late March and will receive a US retail release this month.

Meanwhile, the PC version of the game reached ten million sales this week.

There's always going to be bugs in new updates. Good update nontheless!

TTG_iLLuSiionZ What's The Point Putting It Through Cert Testing, Clearly If They Tested It, Which By The Looks Of It They Didn't, It Would Have Failed Cert Testing, Are Microsoft Blind Or Just Dumb?

The way you write hurts my eyes but really the cert test checks out the update and allows it to be placed on live

Why You Cap Every First Letter? Cert testing does nothing to test for bugs 4J does that and from the looks of it, they did not do it very well.

Ms test weather or not it'll bug out their servers not weather or not it'll make a game better, that's up to the dev. Also Typing With Capitals Makes You Seem About Five.

The way you write is killing me. But on topic, Microsoft certification testing just makes sure its stable to go out and there isn't any exploits that could cause security issues

Lamb I've heard from the forums here the new update is crazy buggy.
I'm not surprised, XBLA minecraft has been a huge disappointment in general.

it kinda has be a big disappointment

I don't think so 4J have done an outstanding job Minecraft is a very complex game its not going to be perfect even the PC version had very buggy moments one bug i remember was if you dropped your axe and picked it up again one hit and the axe would smash oh the alpha days.
