Black Ops 2 Won’t Be Getting Any More New Guns Via DLC

Black Ops 2‘s first map pack, Revolution included a bonus weapon as part of its offerings – the Peacekeeper SMG – for the first time in Call of Duty history.

With no gun DLC announced as part of Uprising, Black Ops 2′s second map pack, the community have begun wondering why there won’t be a new gun introduced to the game for people who purchase Uprising.

When people started to question Treyarch, asking if there was going to be any new guns included in the Uprising map pack, the developer cleared things up once and for all. The gun DLC was a one time thing for Revolution only and there are no plans to include weapons in future Black Ops 2 DLC.

Uprising launches on Xbox 360 April 16.

Yes it'll take some time to make and balance it and whatever else.
But more guns is what the community have been crying out for in DLC for years.
It's a no brainer Treyarch,

I agree. Dice can make more than 5 different guns for one DLC,yet Treyarch can only make one per game. That's pretty stupid and lazy on Treyarch's side and on Infinity Ward's side.

The peacekeeper disappears after host migration usually.

Well they've released enough :P

Whenever I attach the peacekeeper it keeps resetting my class to just a knife or default loadout.
