Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 Are Getting Native Physical PS5 Releases

4.5
Capcom released native versions of Resident Evil 7 and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 natively for PS5 a couple of years ago, and soon, the survival horror trio will launch for the console in physical form as well.

The company has announced that Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition (which includes the base game as well as all of its post-launch DLC) will get physical PS5 releases on December 6 in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, on December 26 in Japan, and at some point in January in North America (though a specific release date for the latter isn’t yet announced), retailing for $29.99.

Resident Evil Village and last year’s Resident Evil 4 remake were both native PS5 games upon launch as is, which means all modern Resident Evil games are now available on the platform both physically and digitally.

As for what series fans have to look forward to in the future, leaks have claimed that as many as five Resident Evil games are simultaneously in development right now, including Resident Evil 9 and alleged remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica.

Runts Ah More worthless physical releases smh

how are they worthless? because YOU don't play them?

according to your comment on this article, you have a ps5 disc edition...
"I have the disc version. The digital ones are so silly to me"
https://www.thetechgame.com/News/sid=44640/ps5-disc-edition-makes-up-82-of-sales-for-sonys-console-in-the-us.html

so, why do you still have yours if the physical releases are worthless?
you can easily trade your disc version for the digital only

anyways....

great news!!! glad they bringing on more physical discs for ps5 games, especially most (if not all) of the franchise
