Sonic: Lost World features competitive multiplayer, off-screen play on

Sonic: Lost World will have a few platform-specific distinctions on Wii U and 3DS. The former version will support off-TV play and a "two player support mode," while the 3DS game will include "exclusive Special Stages and Color Powers unique to Nintendo 3DS," according to Sega.

Both versions of Sonic: Lost World will offer competitive multiplayer modes, though Sega has yet to explain them in detail.

Sonic: Lost World will launch on Wii U and 3DS some time later this year as part of a new partnership between Sega and Nintendo.

This is one of the few games I would want to get a Wii U for.

slapshot101 Competitive multiplayer is like the only way the could have multiplayer on a game like this. The off screen feature will be nice though.


It will probably be like a time trial or race like they had in Sonic Generations. I still would like to see how this plays out though, maybe a battle mode like they had in Sonic Adventure 2 but online and what not.

Sonic is just such a nostalgia trip. Whether you play the older games or newer ones. I'm actually hoping they make a Sonic Adventure 3 or finish up the Sonic the Hedgehog 4(I think they were supposed to do an episode 3 for it.)
