Phil Spencer talks about sharing games with non Family Members

4.3
Microsoft's Phil Spencer interviewed with companies and talked about the game sharing on Xbox One. He stated that you can share games with people other than your family, but there are some twists in it. Microsoft previously released that only ten family members can have access to your game library. None of them have to be from your real life family though.

Spencer states that he does believe people will create family groups with people that aren't associated with their family at all. He believes this does ease some of the tension people had with the game sharing, but it has not put out the flames yet.

So basically you can share any game you buy with the 10 selected people no matter where they live. That's pretty interesting. However, I read that only one person can play at a time so, what do you do if they are playing your game when you want to play it? Kick them off?

Just let the Xbox gamers trade games freely damn -_-

So there are groups of 10 people who all buy different games and you can all play them at the same time? That would be very cool but I am pretty sure this is not the case.

Woobie It's still just very stupid to me, just let us have freedom...

I agree to much of a hassle to deal with.

It's a good addition, but I probably won't be using it.

doper Yea you can share your games with your friends but you can't play the game the same time they are playing the game which makes it useless to me.

And when you lend your friend a game you can play at the same time? Lol.

Also, according to some xbox support twitter person, you and your friend may be able to play the game at the same time. I'm not 100% sure.

Not really though, because once you add a person to your share list I don't think you can remove them, they must have been your friend for 30 days and it's only a license, so you probably can't both play the same game at once, it's nice for use with close friends and family though.
