Sony confirms games to start at $59.99

4.5
Sony has announced today that their first party games will start at $59.99. Microsoft also released the same statement a couple days ago.

Many analysts believe that companies like EA, Activation, etc. Will want more for their games than the sixty dollar price point. Both of these companies declined to answer any questions about prices for their games.

Even
darkowl1991 Australians pay double that anyway

What currency do they use? Because that sounds ridiculous!

The official Australian currency is literally just a few pennies off of the US dollar. 1 US dollar in Australian money is only $1.05.

yet we still pay more for ****

That just seems so greedy and a huge slap to the face. I guarantee I would never buy a game for $120.

Watch the prices be one hundred dollars or more.

I've also seen them on Amazon for much higher prices.

This is actually a relief, I wasn't about to start paying even higher prices on games. I rarely buy games as it is now.
