Yes you heard correct, Valve has stated that they will be released Wednesday June 26th to the public. While it doesn't include trade offers and the Card Binder(Which will be introduced post release), you will still be able to collect cards. So get ready to start earning those cards for all of your beloved games!

Well this will be interesting, I just don't see the point in selling cards for games unless they unlock something in the game.

You're able to get money from the trading cards and badges? Seems pretty cool, Steam is basically giving back to the Steam community.
