DualShock 4 Has A Deceptively Large Size, Side-By-Side Comparison

Sony has done a lot of changes to the DualShock 4, in fact a lot of people who got their hands on it have been praising it. There’s a reason for that, the controller was designed in tandem with Sony’s first party studios and the drawbacks of the DualShock 3 have been rectified here.

The controller’s size has been pretty deceptive in the press images, so how big is it exactly? Well it’s almost as big as the Xbox One controller and maybe some people will feel it’s even bigger based on this image below posted by a user on a Chinese site called Weibo (registration required).

As you can see, the controller feels really comfy to hold and is shaping up to be one of the best ones ever made. But that’s for the people to judge.

Honestly, I hate the look of both the controllers. I hope they feel better then they look.

It likely will. Weight, Size and Comfort are all aspects when it comes to a consoles controller. Lets just hope that the PS4 controller can achieve good scores in all 3

The only thing i'm going to find irritating from moving to PS4 from Xbox360 is the position of the left thumb stick. I don't know if anyone else finds this, but I guess i'll get used to it. ^^

slapshot101 It seems that the PS4 controller is a bit wider then the Xbox One's is but it is a lot slimmer and looks less bulky and more comfortable to hold.


That's why I like the PS4 controller more. It looks like it would be way easier to use and more comfortable than the Xbox One controller, but I will get used to the Xbox One controller either way.


I never thought of it that way.. Well i guess that's a trend with all Play Station Controllers, they are slightly wider yet less bulky than Xbox Controllers. I am getting a PS4 either way so i'll see how the controller feels once i get it
