Battlefield 4 could get PS4 mouse & keyboard support, says DICE

Battlefield 4 developer DICE is open to mouse and keyboard support on PS4, according to producer Aleksander Grøndal.


Bit of a scant one this, but when speaking with AusGamers, Grøndal was asked if the team would ever consider supporting the devices on Sony’s console.

He replied, “We have mouse and keyboard support for the PC obviously, but I can’t speak now specifically for next gen consoles. But if it makes sense in the Battlefield universe, for a Battlefield game, we’ll consider it.”

PC has better graphics but i'd probably find it easier to play on console.


I personally prefer the game on console. I guess it's because my past experiences with Bad Company 2. I played Battlefield 3 on the PC but didn't really like using the mouse and keyboard

I think it would benefit some people if they decide to switch from the PC to console as they will be a more familiar with the controls instead of having to get used to everything and it being awkward for them.

MCXBLA_Zombie Ps3 had keyboard support thats not really that shocking that they would add the mouse. why would u wont a keyboard and mouse on a console gaming system thats just silly.


What they are talking about is faming like you do on pc. PS3 keyboard was just for typing. This would be mouse to look around, aim and shoot. Keyboard would use the WASD keys to move around, left control is crouch. And more

For the more hardcore players it could be better


I personally prefer using the controller despite playing a fair bit of games. This will be great for PC players who have moved to console though


I doubt many PC players would move to console lol


i used to play PC but i moved to xbox lol


Very very very little pc players are switching to consoles. Yes some might own consoles but very few are replacing their $1000 customm built pc with an xbox. Though many are switching from console to pc.
