Battlefield 4 could get PS4 mouse & keyboard support, says DICE

Battlefield 4 developer DICE is open to mouse and keyboard support on PS4, according to producer Aleksander Grøndal.


Bit of a scant one this, but when speaking with AusGamers, Grøndal was asked if the team would ever consider supporting the devices on Sony’s console.

He replied, “We have mouse and keyboard support for the PC obviously, but I can’t speak now specifically for next gen consoles. But if it makes sense in the Battlefield universe, for a Battlefield game, we’ll consider it.”

I think this would be kind of cool, I wouldn't mind being able to play more than one way. Though it could be an unfair advantage in the game for either side.

Im not the biggest fan of it "that's why i play Xbox".


I play on console but I feel more comfortable playing Battlefield with the keyboard and mouse. I've only played it on the PC a few times but it seems easier for me with the mouse and keyboard.

That doesn't make sense. The PS4 would never be a PC ...

That's part of the reason I play console too, the controller.
