GTA 5 gameplay video 'captured from PS3 version'

Rockstar Games has insisted that the footage shown in the debut GTA 5 gameplay trailer was captured from the PlayStation 3 version of the game.

"Just to clarify for those asking, this particular video was captured with footage from the PS3 version of the game," it said on the Rockstar Games website.

Although it is yet to officially confirm the project, a recent job listing indicated that the developer could be planning to bring GTA 5 to PC. The post called for a 'graphic programmer' to join Rockstar Leeds and work to "help bring our latest titles to the PC platform".

The post was quickly removed by Rockstar, but not before it could be posted on the internet.

"Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform," it read, "working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio's uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible."

The wording sparked speculation that Red Dead Redemption, another of the studio's "latest titles" could also finally make the jump to PC.

According to the post, the candidate would also be required to work "with skilled developers on Next Generation games", seemingly a reference to the heavily rumoured PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

In a recent Q&A, Rockstar said, "We don't have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now."

The GTA 5 release date has been confirmed as September 17 worldwide.

Vampiric Could never really see the difference between the graphics on the Xbox and PS3.
I have both and prefer the Xbox simply because of the controller.
If you don;t have abnormally small, deformed hands, your hands ache like f*ck after about an hour on a PS3.

So for that reason alone I'll be getting GTAV on Xbox, even though I'll still have to be paying for damn online.


yh i like the xbox for the awesome controller and again to me the graphics look no different so i will get it on the xbox as well

Yeah but they both have things what are better and bad about each other so they arnt the same in a way xD

Leap I love how that they always use Xbox gameplay and now all of a sudden they use PS3 gameplay. Makes sense -.-

Because in the begining they both pretty much had the same graphic performance but at the end of thier lives the PS3 has better performance games like Beyond Two Souls which is why I really want to get another PS3 have pretty much proved that.

UNDERWORLDHYBRD i hate stuff like this. to all the ps3 fanboys ps3 isnt better than the xbox 360 and to all the xbox 360 fan boys the xbox 360 isnt better than the ps3. they both have there good and there bad just like with anything else in life. i own a xbox 360 because thats what my friends play on so people please just get along cause you know no matter what system it is on gta v is going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
