PS4 also playable at Comic Con

Sony will be letting members of the public get all touchy-feely with the PlayStation 4 at the San Diego Comic Con.

Following confirmation of Xbox One's attendance from Microsoft earlier this week, Sony has said its next-generation console will also be playable at the show, making it the first event at which members of the public can get their hands on the new consoles (aside from the seemingly thousands of LA residents that snuck into E3 in June).

The PlayStation Booth (#301) will host a selection of PS4, PS3 and Vita games, including Driveclub and Knack on PS4 (full list below).

The firm will also host two events on July 19: a The Last of Us signing with creative director Neil Druckmann at 2pm, and a panel on 'The Art of Video Games' at 4pm with Dark Horse PR director Jeremy Atkins, creators Faith Erin Hicks and Neil Druckmann (The Last of Us), "and some surprise guest writers and artists".

On July 20 at 4pm, Robert Kirkman (creator of The Walking Dead comic series) and Telltale Game's Dan Connors (Telltale Games CEO) and Kevin Bruner (Telltale Games president and CTO) will host a panel titled 'Behind the Scenes with Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Game Series'.

The San Diego Comic Con takes place at the San Diego Convention Center from July 18 - 21.

The fact that when Microsoft got rid of the DRM, the sales for the Xbox One rapidly increased therefore it was sold out on amazon along with PS4 so you can't say it is superior if they BOTH sold out. Shut up you pathetic little child, you're wrong, the end. Xbox One is far too expensive to be deemed good value for money, only idiots will spend an extra $100 for a kinect sensor that they'll never use, time for bed now child.


Well I would assume more games are going to be integrating the Kinect since it is now required. So you would probably use it more. And for non-exclusives that means you would have to the PS Eye to get the all the benefits for PS users. Say what you want about the Kinect but it is better than the Eye. Very few people even have an Eye for their PS3 and I only have used one once. Also the "whole never use it thing" so your telling every time I turn on my Xbox by saying "Xbox On" I'm not using it? Please explain to me how I'm not using my Kinect because I fail to see your thought process.


I kind of agree with you, but one thing I don't like is that people are saying "you should have a choice to have kinect or not," so more games will be kinect inclusive that will be awesome. I do have to admit though just look up a couple of videos on the play-station eye, the tech demos look pretty cool. Last of all people should not complain about the kinect. The xbox one has integrated the kinect into their console and it would totally change the console if they took it out. At least they changed something and added stuff to the new console. Most company's like "Treyarch and "Infinity ward" keep everything the same and slap a new sticker on it.

$100 more, yeah it is an extra $100. But it will all be worth it, there will be so much to do with the kinect and you haven't even tried it, so stop saying it is going to be bad/suck. They have done a lot to the new kinect so I am sure it will be well worth it.

i wish i could play one of the next gen consoles where I live. :D
