Best Buy re-opens Xbox One Day One pre-orders, Gamestop officially out

Best Buy pre-orders for the Xbox One Day One Edition are now live (again), while many other retailers are quickly selling out of their stocks.

The Xbox One Day One Edition is no longer up for pre-order at Gamestop "due to high demand," a spokesperson tells us. Those interested in learning when more consoles are available at Gamestop can sign up for the mailing list.

Gamestop halted PS4 pre-orders for the same reason on July 9, so if an intense feeling of déjà vu just assaulted anyone, it's totally normal. Or you're in the Matrix.

Here's the latest next-gen retailer run-down: Amazon is out of Xbox One Day One consoles, but it has the standard edition, and it also has standard PS4 bundles. Wal Mart has Day One editions and a variety of PS4 launch bundles for pre-order. Best Buy, of course, now has Xbox One Day One for pre-order, along with the PS4.

Sorcery I'm not pre-ordering either console, because at the moment neither of them are offering anything special, especially the overpriced Xbox One.


If you think about it, they are both overpriced. Only thing keeping the PS4 from being just as pricey is the fact it does not include the camera.


How are they overpriced, for kids they are overpriced but your basiclly getting a middle to higher end pc with their game operating system on it


why does everything come down to PC????


Both are overpriced. X1 is just a bit better than the 360, but nothing special since the drm is out. Ps4 has better specs but still isn't anything crazy. In my opinion the ps4 is a better deal.
The only thing keeping me from buying the X1 is somewhat the drm being out but the dumb kinect because I really dont want to spend money on it when I get turtle beach to talk and never use the kinect anyway.

Will you be able to use your Windows ID to keep your gt or will it be on a first come, first serve basis?
How many friends can you have? How many people can be in your party? Has Microsoft answered any of these questions?
I'm too lazy to search. -_-

you will keep your same gt and gamerscore but your games will not work on the xbox one
and they have announced that they raised the friends list capacity its more then likely unlimited now with skype being implemented and whatnot


they said they increased it to 1000?
