Saint’s Row 4 DLC: ‘Enter the Dominatrix’ due after launch

Saint’s Row 4 developer Volition Inc has confirmed that the game’s first DLC pack ‘Enter the Dominatrix’ will launch within 45 days of the game’s August release. It takes the form of a mockumentary starring the game’s cast.

Enter the Dominatrix was originally coined as a DLC pack for Saint’s Row The Third, but the concept of players fighting aliens in a virtual world was expanded into Saint’s Row 4.

During a Comic-Con panel, Volition studio head Steve Jaros confirmed that the Enter the Dominatrix DLC will focus on behind-the-scenes footage featuring the game’s characters as they jokingly discuss why the expansion concept was cut and re-purposed into a full game.

Last night we reported that Saint’s Row 4 originally ended on a Bollywood-style song and dance routine, but during the panel Jaros added that it was scrapped. Read up on it here.

Saint’s Row 4 hits PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 across Europe on August 23 and in North America on August 20.

I'm guessing there will be some season pass or something? Most games have them now.
I get a sinking feeling every time someone talk about dlc before the game is even out. Back in the day dlc was a nice surprise if a game did well in sales they could invest a few more bucks after to satisfy the core fans.

But now, it's all part of the plan, chop the game up, make the disc version 20-30% shorter and keep it as dlc for later. I know the Enter the Dominatrix was late for sr3 but why has it become dlc for sr4? Why isn't it on the disc?

I'll still buy the game, I might even get the season pass, I'm just getting bored of companies thinking dlc is a priority when really it should be an afterthought.

Because they planned ENTER THE DOMINATRIX for Saints of row 3, and moved it other to saints of row 4.

I hope that this game is better then there making it seem & the map is alot more updated then they were making it seem, I can't wait for this, Just going to download & play on my jtag until GTA V then im going to be playing that until the xbox one & BF4

I don't see why they don't just put it into the game instead of pointlessly keeping it out of the game so we have to spend extra on it.

It basically looks like SR3 DlC...

Because it was meant to be

SR1 and SR2 are the most real 3 and 4 are super stupid.

I really enjoy playing the saints row game. Some people think that being the president and fighting aliens doesn't really follow the games original story line. Though the trailers to me seem like it did. Anyways on topic it's really awesome that we wont even need to wait 2 months for a dlc after launch.
