Update: Xbox Live issues, Microsoft Investigating

Some folks are reporting that Xbox Live is having connection issues at present, and Microsoft has confirmed users may experience difficulties with connectivity. It said it is aware of an issue with signing in and connecting to XBL and are “hard at work to get you back online as soon as possible.” Currently the Xbox Live status page lists a Service Alert but with no details.

Users are reporting issues with starting games, Signing in, Buying content and issues with some apps.

It seems like this happens a lot. I think that the Playstation network almost never has the unexpected outages, but they have scheduled outages all the time when Live is never down for expected outages.

This was quite a problem, it appears to happen every month or so, it would be good if Microsoft avoided such issues in the first place.

FYI I got kicked out of a zombies game on round 60

Pins It Was Never Down For Me My Brother Was Playing And There Were No Signs Of Lag!

The Only Thing Was When I Tried To Make A New Account It Wouldnt Let Me Sign in


It wasn't for everyone, just a select group it seems like.
