Update: Xbox Live issues, Microsoft Investigating

Some folks are reporting that Xbox Live is having connection issues at present, and Microsoft has confirmed users may experience difficulties with connectivity. It said it is aware of an issue with signing in and connecting to XBL and are “hard at work to get you back online as soon as possible.” Currently the Xbox Live status page lists a Service Alert but with no details.

Users are reporting issues with starting games, Signing in, Buying content and issues with some apps.

UPDATE: Xbox Status page now lists an issue with the LIVE network.

So you're going to spend $1,000 dollars just because Xbox Live went down for a couple of hours?

Xbox Live is always having problems nowadays. Also, PC gaming is much better than console.

any way i didn't even get effected by this

Yeah but Xbox is a paid service.
Exactly, every time Xbox Live has issues it's like people feel insecure and just start talking about what happened to PSN, but then say "Oh we pay for XBL that's why it's better" but this is like the fourth time i've seen XBL having issues in the news.

Well that may be true but just last month PSN had problems to. It happens. All internet services have problems especially the big ones.

and it only happened once xbox has been down Several times lately and like others say you have to pay even when its down.

I dont mind paying for a couple of hours of Xbox Live being down. Anybody who does must be a real cheap ass, I would be more mad if Xbox Live went down for 2 months and not paying more than it being down for 2 hours and paying.
