Give it a rest, since when have Sony EVER copied Microsoft? Who were the ones who created their original console based on the success of the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2? Microsoft!

This information has probably been set in stone for months, it's being released now because people are likely inquiring about it, even if they are just trying to point score against the Xbox One, it's working. All intelligent gamers that have no reason to purchase an Xbox One (exclusives, accounts and such) are buying the PlayStation 4, they have the mature demographic now, and Xbox will be stuck with the kids that can never be parted from their Xbox's because they've grown up with one since their parents bought it for them.

Unfortunately I and many others have no choice but to purchase the Xbox One, because of the only good exclusive it has, Halo (even Halo 4 was atrocious however). If you're going to purchase one of them, do it for good reason, not because you're a stubborn child (not directed specifically at you) that puts his fingers in his ears every time someone tries to explain why the PlayStation 4 is superior on the basis of facts.

Microsoft never planed to get into the console market till engineers from the directX team played around with some laptops. It's why it's called xbox (directXbox)

Boar I find it amusing how Xbox announces you need gold to use the DVR then soon after Sony try to scrape up scraps by making it free, its getting desperate now to be honest.

Agreed i wonder if the sony fans are seeing what sony are doing seriously

I think it is now kind of funny how much Sony is beating Microsoft in everything. Who cares if they made the discussion after Microsoft said it requires gold to use dvr. At least they don't force you to buy ps plus for every aspect of the console.

B52 & Boar, couldn't agree more. I read this article and instantly thought the same, the simple sheep that get guided by the marketing, love it. It's obvious that sony's game plan is to build a straight opposite in every way they can. Just article after article backing this up. And to Kal, no just the online games, most minor feature of the console don't you agree? Amusing how for the last 6 years the only two argument's i have had as to why to get a ps3 was bluray and free online sooo??
