Xbox TV division has “literally hundreds of ideas” for TV content

Microsoft’s Phil Spencer has stated that the company has, “literally hundreds of ideas” when it comes to Xbox TV content, aside from the announced Halo series.


Speaking with Bloomberg, Spencer said of the Xbox TV studio in Los Angeles, “They have literally hundreds of ideas that they are incubating right now,” and added, “”We will have some new announcement for TV shows coming pretty soon.”

On the topic of interactive sports broadcasting, Spencer added, “We believe sports is a very interesting category globally.”

I agree, a console is made to game, not to watch TV.


But they are trying to make it a Multi Media center as well they are trying to aim the demograph at families not just the casual gamer I would rather have my console and TV all in one place then have to change over I think it is a good idea but they do need to focus a bit more on the gaming side of things but I am sure they will do fine when the console actually does release the same as the PS4.

I'm a FAN of Xbox I'm sorry to say but Xbox has a lot of ideas and they normally never get them done, I'm really hoping things can be successful on the Xbox One, it's already confirmed to me that it's a nice out standing console, I just hope Xbox can get more safe so people can't bypass to get around it, I honestly don't like the fact when people mod, it's cool and all, but that's just not my thing.

McCutchen I don't see why they're putting TV on the Xbox One. If you want to watch TV, you can switch the channel.


But some people amy prefer to stay on the Xbox One if the option is there I would use it it may be lazy but meh, I am lazy.
