Xbox TV division has “literally hundreds of ideas” for TV content

Microsoft’s Phil Spencer has stated that the company has, “literally hundreds of ideas” when it comes to Xbox TV content, aside from the announced Halo series.


Speaking with Bloomberg, Spencer said of the Xbox TV studio in Los Angeles, “They have literally hundreds of ideas that they are incubating right now,” and added, “”We will have some new announcement for TV shows coming pretty soon.”

On the topic of interactive sports broadcasting, Spencer added, “We believe sports is a very interesting category globally.”

McCutchen I don't see why they're putting TV on the Xbox One. If you want to watch TV, you can switch the channel.


But some people amy prefer to stay on the Xbox One if the option is there I would use it it may be lazy but meh, I am lazy.

Both Sony and Microsoft should be doing this, I know Sony are already on the film scene anyways as they are making a Ratchet and Clank movie for 2015 Microsoft should do the same.

You say that now. But you may a couple times.


For me it won't be a big part of my Xbox One experience but I'll most likely be using it to watch TV at least a couple of times.
