Minecraft Playstation Edition Updates Will Be Xbox 360 Equivalent

With 4j studios who announced they'd be making not only Xbox One minecraft but PS3, PS4 and Playstation Vita versions it seems everyone wanted to know what updates they'd start of with. 4j studios aren't giving to much away on the next gen consoles but finally came out on twitter respond to a fan who asked what update from PC would the PS4 version be equivalent to, they respond with this "The underlying game code will be the same version across all consoles, so at least Xbox 360's TU13 equivalent" thus confirming that no console will be left in the shadow of it's rivals.

Uniison So us Xbox fans had to wait and are still waiting for the updates like PC, yet Sony get's everything we have when the game releases? 4J Studios is ridiculous.


But xbox got mc first, it would be dumb if mc was released on the ps3 with the very first update, people wouldn't buy it because then they will have to wait months just to catch up with the updates for xbox.

I think xbox version is better, not in Updates but for ease of control and playing with friends.

Exactly. I like the controls on Xbox. It is also easier to play with friends on Xbox.


I'd have to agree with you, in my opinion the xbox controller is a lot better, I like the ps3 thumbsticks though, and plus party chat makes it a lot better.
