Battlefield 4 beta live on PC and Xbox 360, hits PS3 later today

The Battlefield 4 beta is now live on PC and Xbox 360 ahead of its rollout on PS3 later today.

Early access is reserved for Battlefield 3 Premium members, customers who pre-ordered the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin.com, and registered owners of Medal of Honor Warfighter - Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition.

Offering an early taste of the game's Siege of Shanghai map in Conquest and Domination modes, the beta will be open to all from October 4.

The console beta release times listed below are controlled by Microsoft and Sony, so the exact launch times aren't set in stone.

Exclusive Beta Rollout Times (October 1st):

PC: Live now!
Xbox 360 worldwide: 2-6 AM PDT (10am - 2pm BST)
PlayStation 3 (Europe): 7-11 AM PDT (3pm - 7pm BST)
PlayStation 3 (US): 3-7 PM PDT (11pm - 3am Wednesday BST)
Open Beta Rollout Times (October 4th):

PC: 1 AM PDT/9 AM UTC (9am BST)
Xbox 360 worldwide: 2-6 AM PDT (10am-2pm BST)
PlayStation 3 (Europe): 7-11 AM PDT (3pm - 7pm BST)
PlayStation 3 (US): 11 AM PDT (7pm- BST)

I wasn't actually too surprised with the Beta, and after not liking Ghosts either, I'm not sure what I'll play.

Not the beta. The beta was not what many were expecting from it.
The full game of BF3 is much better than the BF4 beta.

I played a bit of the beta on PC for a few hours yesterday and didn't seem to enjoy it much at all. Was expecting a bit more from the beta than this.

It was no where NEAR as good as expected, the game in general was laggy and bad looking and there was so much smoke added to make it easier to run its nearly impossible to see a few meters in front of yourself.

Not really though at this moment, the console variant is laggy and horrible looking and crashes and is just stupid in general unless you're playing it on a PC and I hope that they make it look a lot better on release or it will be a huge disappointment

I would imagine that it would definatley be ahead of BF3 by a large margin and I cannot wait to see what the final product will be as I have a Pre Order for BF4.


I was going to pre order it but I'm getting killzone instead
