PS4 games available for digital pre-order via PS3

Sony has begun offering pre-orders for digital downloads of PlayStation 4 games.

The platform holder confirmed it is now accepting pre-orders for Knack, a family-friendly platformer developed by SCE Japan Studio and directed by PS4 system architect Mark Cerny. It is also taking pre-orders for Digital Extremes' Warframe, though this is a free-to-play title.

Sony has set a PS4 release date of November 29 across Europe and November 15 in the US. Microsoft's Xbox One will be released in between those dates, on November 22.

The company recently confirmed the contents of its official PlayStation 4 retail bundles for the UK. The SKUs on offer include a solus package containing just a single controller; a Killzone Shadow Fall bundle featuring the PS4 and a copy of Guerrilla Games' shooter, and a "Mega Bundle" featuring the PS4 console, Killzone: Shadow Fall, the PlayStation Camera and a second Dual Shock 4 controller.

The fourth and final official bundle was to include the PS4 console and Ubisoft's Watch Dogs. However, Ubisoft has revealed all versions of Watch Dogs have been delayed to Spring 2014.

Gossip See now this is cool , but Id never do it. I like my games on disc. Suppose you buy digital games and your account gets banned.


Then you just wasted your money. That's why I agree with you on getting a physical copy of the game.

I rather go to the store and buy the game than having to wait for it to show up at my door.

I understand why they are doing this but I don't know why someone would choose to order it like this over going to the Best Buy store or just going to the best buy website.
