GTA Online Rockstar Announce Bans Are Coming Soon

With GTA Online being the centre of gaming for 2 weeks it seems rockstar have more on there hands than they every expected, as if the servers not working wasn't enough they now have to deal with glitches and money exploits. Rockstar have set out to ban anyone doing glitches than unbalances the online economy, in a custom care call rockstar said the following "We’re aware of the issue and until we can fix it, we’ll ban anyone with a history of abusing this design flaw. It will ruin others’ enjoyment by dis-balancing the economy that’s vital to the Online experience. We’re in discussion with Microsoft, too, to escalate these bans from online privileges to user accounts as a statement against these antics. We don’t expect any outrage from the law-abiding player base who haven’t devalued others’ items and hard-work with an exploit – these the customers we are proud to help" Nothing has been said about doing mission replays but taking the glitch to the next level with selling your personal car or bike can result in a ban in the near future.

Tours It's their fault they deleted my level 40 character the 3rd day, and there's no legit way of making big bucks because these idiots didn't add heists


Well, they are giving out the $500, 000 stimulus package. They also apologized and came up with a temporary fix for this issue. They will be adding heists in the game later as they have stated before. They are not ready to release heists yet because they are still testing the aspects of it and fine-tuning the heists so it's the most enjoyable experience from day one.
The "temporary fix" didn't do anything, my character still got deleted and i had to get back on my feet so i did the glitch. End of story

-InsanelyAwesome- What is classed as exploiting though? I did Violent Duct over and over again when it paid 9k and the replay function worked. I do not class that as exploiting due to I was able to replay it which is a feature built into the game. So I don't know.



Obviously they can't ban us for replaying a mission. They are talking about the car sell glitch that people are exploiting.

I can 100% guarantee they would not ban/reset people for pressing replay at the end of a mission, they put it in the game.

ODST To everyone getting pissy about R* banning, remember that there are people who used the glitch maybe a couple of times and then there are those who abused it into making cash seem like it has no value. No one needs 20 mil or more at a low level, and nobody needs to be swimming in golden bullets while their gold and chrome houses (apartments) gleam in the sunset. The glitch is game breaking and needs to be fixed. If you used the glitch, you knew there would be repercussions. Stop whining about how they are over reacting to a community who is breaking the game's principle.


But when getting 50k at low levels takes forever you would expect people to abuse it

If I get banned, I wouldn't really care. I will just stop playing it. Battlefield is about to come out anyways.
