PS4 video shows off hardware and games

Sony is keen to highlight the much discussed advantage in processing speed the PS4 has over the Xbox One with a new PS4-focused video.

The two-and-a-half minute clip touts the highlights of Sony's new console, including that its 'the most powerful next-generation console', in a nod to the claimed processing difference between the two consoles.

The video also highlights several of the console's launch day and launch window titles, and offers another good look at the shiny machine ahead of its November arrival.

Sony has confirmed a PS4 launch date of November 15 in US and November 29 in Europe and Latin America.

The platform holder has also confirmed a list of 15 PS4 launch games, promising that 33 retail games will be out by the end of December 2013.

It's being rumoured that Call of Duty will run at 1080p on PS4 but only 720p on Xbox One.

Slightly strange that in a PS4 story everybody is talking about CoD on a different console instead of why they're looking forward to a PS4. And gamers are surprised that others call the hobby childish.

The Order 1886 is one game I'd be interested in eventually. Killzone is looking nice for a launch game but I would have liked Infamous as well. One game isn't enough to make me want to part with the money.

this was rumoured a while back aswell anomous devs said the difference will be noticable day 1 considering what they got out of ryse it shouldnt be too hard to match the ps4 this early so why cant they maybe x1 has the same problem ps3 has hard to dev for

Relentless757 I refuse to play this system because it is made by immature developers. Seriously? The title of the video is "The Best Place #4ThePlayers to Play?" They have gone too far, and I'm gonna laugh when the Xbox One gets #1 next year.
Don't worry. Pre orders are pretty much neck on for both consoles yet the PS4 is being sold in nearly 4 times as many countries. That says it all for me...

Then you haven't watched E3. Microsoft probably had the best games out of Sony/Nintendo. Your just a Sony fanboy who thinks Xbox is just about TV. It's TV, games, movies, music, internet all in ONE. PS4 is only games. That is really boring and lame. IMO

Well The Xbox one is great for families and all because they concentrate on things other than games, but the PS4 is a gaming console, I'm not buying it to watch movies and listen to music, you should already have devices for these features, The PS4 seems to be a gaming console while the Xbox is a media box, kinda like a glorified Roku with games. Either one is great depending on what you want to get out of it.


Except majority of the people on Xbox play games, and use other apps because they have it on their. Xbox is a gaming console, with all these extra additions someone could watch TV while waiting to get put into a match. PS4 can't do that.


You are beyond delusional, 90% of the features you listed were things that both of the current gen consoles can do.... Wow, you wouldn't buy the PS4 because you like to watch netflix and "go on the internet" and only Xbox one can do that....? I'm going to be sooooo miserable on my ps4 every time I feel like watching TV between matches and I have to hit the HDMI button on my remote instead of just switching to it on my xbox.... Oh, whoa is me

If The Xbox One was $50 cheaper than the PS4 then I would have a different item in my shopping cart. I am still excited for the PS4 though and can't wait to play!
