Microsoft builds giant Xbox One console in Vancouver

4.5
Microsoft seems to like making huge props to promote their hardware. Last week, the company erected a massive working Surface 2 tablet in London. Now, the company has topped that project with a huge Xbox One console that it has placed in a parking lot on the streets of Vancouver.

The fan site Xbox One In Canada first reported on the huge structure, which is 40 feet long and 20 feet wide. If you are in Vancouver, you can head over to the intersection of Nelson and Seymour to see it for yourself. However, the oversized Xbox One has not been placed there just to sit and look a bit like the Monolith in 2001. The official Xbox Canada Facebook page says that people can "pledge" their Xbox Live gamertag at the physical location, online at Xbox.ca/OneSource or via Xbox Live. Each pledge will cause the huge box to get closer to an unstated goal that when reached will cause the large Xbox One to open up with a mystery reward.

Obviously, this is a cool way to promote the launch of the Xbox One on November 22nd in Canada. The huge prop will apparently be making a tour of other Canadian cities but dates and specific locations have yet to be announced.

No, it's not an actual Xbox obviously, it's a giant room with a bunch of Xboxs inside, plus even if you could do that it will only recognize the voice of the main account.
