PlayStation Store now supports PayPal funding on PS3

Sony has expanded its PlayStation Store payment options on the PlayStation 3, allowing users to fund Sony Entertainment Network purchases via PayPal's online money transfer service.

PayPal support was introduced for Sony's Entertainment Network website back in January, and mobile PayPal funding was later made possible with the Mobile Billing option. Up until this week, however, users accessing the PlayStation Network via the PlayStation 3 were only able to add funds using a credit card or prepaid voucher.

A firmware update for the Xbox 360 added PayPal as a billing option in 2011.

PayPal is one of the worst online payment systems known to the internet.

So many problems with fraud and chargebacks its not even worth dealing with.

i was so excited when they introduced this feature, it helped me out so much now i dont have to go out fo osn cards anymore.

They were probably adding it to the ps4 so why wait?


No point in waiting, I would love my PS3 to support paypal!
