Xbox One video discusses personalisation

Microsoft has released a new Xbox One video in which Larry Hryb and members of the Xbox dev team discuss the console's personalisation features.

Xbox One will use Kinect to recognise your face and log into your account, making access to your settings and content as easy as possible.

Check it out in the footage below:


Other recent Xbox One videos showed off the console's Snap feature, Kinect voice commands and the SkyDrive cloud storage service.

Microsoft has confirmed an Xbox One release date of November 22, 2013 in 13 markets. The Xbox One price has been set at £430 / €500 / $500.

Konviicted Xbox One is BY FAR better than the PS4. The PS4 can't even compete with this. Not talking sales-wise but smoothness, the features it has, what you can do with it and how much you can do with it, etc. The hardware is pretty close to the same but the software is completely different. PS4 has a lot of catching up to do if they even want to be in the same league as the One, you can do so much more with the One


Stop. Just stop it so tired of this. it gets to the point where i catch myself doing this also. Just buy what you like stop trying to be that guy who wants everyone to have a xbox. Gaming wise i would go for playstation if you like media and entertainment like TV go for xbox man. Stop focusing on what has nothing to do with you which is sale,performance, and apps. buy it for the games. and if we are talking about what can do more its obviously PC.


agreed with Echleon, OP is jut a guy wanting to drop flame bait and act like he's cool or something. Functionally, Both consoles are equivalent to a decent gaming PC, not even close to top of the line PCs.

I am really looking forward to testing out the snap feature. Looks so cool how they switch between activities so quickly.

I love the UI of the Xbox One so far.

That dashboard is gorgeous, Sad that my ps4 ui is going to suck but looking forward to it.
