Fallout 4 trademarks filed by Bethesda

The Fallout 4 rumour train is in full locomotion again. We hadn't heard much since Three Dog's voice actor made some interesting comments, until a couple of developments this week gave the metaphorical Fallout-anticipation nuke another wobble.

As spotted by the denizens of NeoGAF, the good folk of the Fallout section of Gamepedia have noticed that Bethesda Softworks have this week registered a trademark for Fallout 4, covering a range of things including merchandising and clothing but most pertinently to us - games.
Of course, companies register trademarks all of the time to protect their intellectual property rights, but as Gamepedia notes, there were four months between the registering of the Fallout New Vegas trademark and Bethesda revealing the first teaser trailer.

Speculation has also been compounded when earlier this week a countdown clock appeared at thesurvivor2299.com - the users of Reddit later traced this website to a relatively unknown Polish developer, so we don't think it's actually official, but it's hard to deny the timing of this is certainly interesting.

Finally. Fallout New Vegas was so freakin' boring. Fallout 3 is one of the best games I have ever played though. Can't wait!

How can you say New Vegas was terrible? New Vegas was awesome. So many factions and choices it was just so hard to choose. It had almost twice as many quests as Fallout 3.


It's just how everyone responds to new games.


i played new vegas first and then fallout 3 and i think new veags was better after playing them both, dont know what i would think if i had fallout 3 firs. with the elder scrolls i had oblivion ages ago and sold it and after playing skyrim thought oblivion was better so i bought oblivion again because it was ages ago i played it, i do like oblivion but after playing them both i think skyrim is better, just had memorys of thinking oblivion was better.

How can you say New Vegas was terrible? New Vegas was awesome. So many factions and choices it was just so hard to choose. It had almost twice as many quests as Fallout 3.


Fallout NV was simply boring compared to Fallout 3. Mainly because the game took place in a desert... However Fallout NV was pretty fun at first. The whole fight for Hoover Dam shouldve been a side quest (like how Skyrim made the war a side quest) and made the whole Ulysses the main quest.

Oh well. Im glad to see Fallout 4 is about to be launch next year. I hope they don't pull a GTA on us and make us wait til 2016. lol

Oh and it will most likely be on next gen only. Why would they waste time developing for the current-about-tobe-old gen consoles?


I hope they take as long as they want with their game so it doesn't end up terrible like these games that have been coming out every single year which get really boring.

I doubt they would do that now seeing it would take much more time to port it over.
But who knows, the 360 may be another PS2 and survive for 14 years.
