Xbox One/Xbox 360 most popular Black Friday consoles at Target,Walmart

Xbox One and Xbox 360 reportedly accounted for 61% of all console purchases at target and Walmart over the Thanksgiving sales weekend.

The statistic comes courtesy of InfoScout, which credits the Xbox platform success to the limited availability of PlayStation 4 stock as well as Walmart’s $99 Xbox 360 deal on Black Friday.

The PS3 and PS4 both managed to score 15% of the market, giving Sony about half of Microsoft’s market share during the sales.

The Wii U and Wii definitely trailed the pack with 6% and 1% market share respectively.

That comparison came up because some butthurt ps4 fanboys thought they were funny.


II would rather have a huge vcr like box that I know will run smoothly over a small box tthat has overheating problems.

actually ballbag both consoles are equal... do you own both machines?? NO so how you can make blind judgement is beyond me... im an xbox player, each console will have pro`s and con`s... i honestly believe that the ps3 was better than the 360 for the amount of things you could do, xbox was locked down so much while sony had internet access, the ability to download off the internet, save films to your hard drive etc etc etc... at present xbox is number 1 but never underestimate the power of sony

Acually the Xbox 360 had more things to do on it.
