Destiny launches worldwide on September 9, 2014

Bungie has announced its next game, Destiny, will launch worldwide for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 on September 9. The game will be published by Activision.

"Destiny has always represented a new beginning for our team. It was born from brave possibilities," the announcement post on Bungie's site reads. "We dreamed of a renewed and independent Bungie. We found partners willing to bet big on some crazy new ideas with us."

Destiny is Bungie's "mythic science fiction" open world multiplayer shooter first revealed last November. A beta for Destiny, which pre-orders will get first crack at, kicks off first on PlayStation platforms in the summer of 2014.

Really want to see the graphics on the next gen or pc. This game is really gonna be one of the top 10 of the year in my opinion for 2014.

Exactly, why release a game early that is half finished and have a lot of complaints, when you can finish the game and make the experience a lot better. I don't mind the wait, one bit.


Or you could go rockstar on us, delay it even after years of development and have many problems and have yet to release the best part of multiplayer yet. Along with multiplayer not working for a week or two after being delayed longer than the game.

Maybe you are getting this mixed up with Titanfall. Destiny had always been for these platforms
