Dying Light PS4 gameplay footage runs at 1080p

A new video for Dying Light shows the zombie survival game running at 1080p on the PlayStation 4.

Developed by the studio responsible for the Dead Island series, Dying Light is an open world zombie survival game with a focus on parkour traversal.

The footage below, which aired during the VGX Awards at the weekend, shows how melee combat, zombie damage and parkour works in action.

Published by Warner Bros., Dying Light will release for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 some time in 2014. The game is said to feature "a game-changing day-night cycle" and will be set in a "vast open world".

The video below follows an extensive 12 minute gameplay video released earlier this year.

I was quite upset knowing I can't play another Left 4 Dead on console if I switch to PS4, but I like the look of this! This and The Last of Us is showing that the PS4 really can hold great zombie games

MKP Looks very similar to Dead Island. Guess this is the competition for Dead Rising 3.


I could see dead rising winning between the two due to the sheer popularity of the dead rising franchise


Yeah I agree. And I have no idea so I cant really say but I think the Dead Rising 3 world is much bigger than this one. I read somewhere that the worlds for Dead Rising 1 and 2 "can fit in Dead Rising 3 multiple times over" which is ridiculous.


Yeah.. it certainly is. The only reason that i would pick this one up over dead rising is because it's for the PS4.
