CoD: Ghosts gets Extinction Double XP Weekend

Call of Duty: Ghosts is currently hosting a double XP weekend in Extinction mode this weekend.

In effect from Friday until Sunday, December 15, the buff will offer players 100 per cent additional XP on matches of the game's co-op multiplayer Extinction mode.

The XP boost comes as part of what Activision is calling 'Extinction Day', marking a day of Extinction-focused official live streams airing today, Friday, December 13).

The live streams promise tips from experienced players on how to be good at the alien co-op mode, a Q&A with Infinity Ward developers and a "look at new features coming soon to Extinction".

I think a large majority of gamers do. Extinction Mode isn't my type.

Seems like a ploy to get more people to play extinction because IMO it's terrible. And I never see big YouTubers or my xbox friends (which varies from a broad spectrum) I never see them playing it.
